It’s almost time for kids to go back to school. Everyone is dealing with the uncertainty caused by the pandemic, but for some children, even less in their lives is certain. They’ve been removed from their homes and taken into foster care. And because we’ve seen a recent rise of kids in foster care, we are worried we won’t have anyone to advocate for them, be their voice in court.
Can you commit a couple hours a week to be an advocate for a foster child? To help make sure they’re safe and taken care of? To be a steady support amidst the chaos of the foster care system? To ensure they find a stable, loving home? If your answer is yes, ask me for more info or sign up for a virtual CASA 101 info session by visiting: www.nwacasa.org/volunteer/become-a-volunteer/.

Being a CASA volunteer has been an incredibly worthwhile experience for me. Every child deserves a safe and healthy home where they feel loved. If you have the desire to help children in foster care, consider becoming a CASA volunteer. Ask me for more info or sign up for a virtual CASA 101 by visiting: www.nwacasa.org/volunteer/become-a-volunteer/.

There’s never been a better time to get started because all of CASA’s info sessions and training are online right now! Ask me for more info or sign up for a virtual CASA 101 by visiting: www.nwacasa.org/volunteer/become-a-volunteer/.
